Annual Meeting of the Danish Electrochemical Society, November 2–3, 2023

The Danish Electrochemical Society (DEF) is organising an annual two-day conference on Electrochemical Science and Technology. At the Technical University of Denmark, Kgs. Lyngby, Building 101 (Conference center).

Abstract submission:

Abstracts for oral (15-20 min) or poster (A0) presentations, max one A4 page, should be submitted by email to

The abstract should be written in English. Authors are requested to use the template for abstracts that can be downloaded from THIS LOCATION and indicate their preferred type of presentation (oral/­poster) when submitting the abstract.

Notificatoin of Abstract Approval

Authors will be notified regarding acceptance and type of presentation by email after September 22nd, 2023

Registration fee

The conference fee is 1500 DKK for members and includes dinner on day 1 and lunch on day 2. Further details regarding payment and registration will be published in the second circular for the conference.

It is a great pleasure to announce the winners of the prizes for the best presentations given by students and postdocs in the Electrochemical Science and Technology Conference 2019 at the Society's annual meeting on the 31st of October–1st of November:

The prize of DKK 2000 for the best oral presentation was awarded to Ph.D. Student José Alejandro Arminio-Ravelo, KU Chemistry, for his talk titled “Ir-based nanoparticles for oxygen evolution in rotating disc electrodes: Effect of the electrolyte”.

The prize of DKK 1000 for the best poster presentation was awarded to Ph.D. Student Jingye Feng, Imperial College London, for his poster titled “Fe, N doped GDL-electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction: towards building efficient miniaturized low cost fuel cell systems”.

The prizes are kindly sponsored by Elplatek A/S.
